My husband did talk to the manager and she begged us to come back in and assured us that we would get excellent service.no thanks. We waited on menus for another 20 minutes and left. 20 minutes later I finally had to stand up and flag one over to bring us drinks. There were plenty of waitresses strutting around in their short-shorts, cowboy boots and hats.but had no interest in serving anyone. For a Friday night the restaurant was not busy. Defeats the purpose of having a reservation. It is not my fault that I had reservations, but the hotel decided to 'let them stay another night'. After 30 minutes of debating with the clerk, I was finally offered a king room in the tower (no smoking) at no additional cost. Upon arrival I was told that our room was not available because some guests decided to extend their stay, and I could be 'upgraded' to a double queen at the inn for no additional cost. Since it was a special occasion.I booked the room at $149. I did ask about a reduced rate, since we are long time patrons, and was told no. We booked a king smoking room at The Inn. We booked a room for our 10th wedding anniversary on June 15th. On average we would go once a month to gamble, and occasionally stay in the hotel. My husband and I have been going to Choctaw Durant since it was a tent, which has been at least 8 years.
